How It Works
Fantasy football lets you build a virtual squad of real players and score points based on their real-life performances. Here’s the basics.
Pick Your Squad
You get a budget. Within that budget you choose a set number of players (e.g. 15). You must fill positions: goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, forwards. Each player has a price that changes during the season.
Earn Points
When your players play in real matches, they earn points for goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, and more. Your captain’s points are doubled. Your total each gameweek is the sum of your starting XI (plus bench in some formats).
Transfers & Chips
You usually get one free transfer per gameweek. Extra transfers cost points. Special chips (e.g. Wildcard, Bench Boost) let you make big changes or boost your score in a single gameweek. Use them wisely.
Leagues
Join public or private leagues. Compete with friends or the world. Your rank is based on your total points. The higher you finish, the bigger the bragging rights.
